AHMA - Advanced Hybrid Martial Arts:

We here at ExplosiveHands.com came up with the acronym "A.H.M.A. - Advanced Hybrid Martial Arts" for the type of fighters who has their roots grounded in a "traditional" martial art. If you look at some of the greatest MMA fighters out there today most of them have a discipline in one or two traditional martial arts.

Here's a quick list of fighters who we think is worthy of being labeled "AHMA Fighters":

- Chuck Liddell (Kempo)
- Bas Rutten (Kyokushin Karate 5th degree black belt)
- George St. Pierre (Kyokushin Karate)
- Lyoto Machida (Shotokan Karate)
- Gina Carano (Muay Thai)
- Anderson Silva (Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Judo)
- Royce Gracie (Brazillian Jiu Jitsu)
- BJ Penn (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu)

Find your root, find your discipline, and respect the Art - only then you will become a true Martial Artist.

The Respect:

From MMA Fighters to Traditional Martial Artists ExplosiveHands.com RESPECT all styles and disciplines. We do not believe that there is one dominating style, we believe that every style can be used as a tool determining on the situation you encounter.

We also hold true to Bruce Lee’s quote: “Showing off is the fool's idea of glory.” This Community is not a place to Show-Off yourself or boast about your technique, a true Martial Artist or Fighter will use their knowledge to “build-up” rather than “put-down.” Overall, we all must stay humble.

It is because of this perspective why we welcome ALL styles and techniques in this community; we believe ALL styles and disciplines can be beneficial to the Practitioner, the Student, and the Master.

The Clothing Line:

The "Complete Fighter" Clothing Line - New Breed Contender. Cutting-edge Graphic Tees and Apparel for ALL Martial Artists.

Thank you.
